Yom Yahweh - The Day of the Lord

Chapter 8: The Son of Man

A most precious concept - the “Son of Man”.  It has its origin the book of Daniel:

Dan.  7   :13     In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a

Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven.  He approached the

Ancient of Days and was led into His presence. (He is not, and does not

become, the Ancient of days himself)

:14     He was given authority, glory and sovereign power:  all peoples,

nations and men of every language should serve worshipped him.  His dominion is

an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is

one that will never be destroyed.

:25     ...a time, times and half a time... (three and a half years before his return)

This is the same one as the man child of Rev 12:

Rev.  12 :5       She gave birth to a son, a male child (in Bethlehem), who will rule

the nations with an iron scepter.  And her child was snatched up to

                                    God and to His throne.

                          : 6      ...1260 days (three and a half years)

And the Prince of Bethlehem:

Micah 5 :2       But you, Bethlehem Ephrata, though you are small among the clans

of  Judah, out of you will come for Me one who will be ruler over

Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

:3       Therefore will he give them up until...

The Son of Man, Male Child, and the Ruler from Bethlehem are all the same person.  They are not the Lamb who comes BEFORE Yom Yahweh,  who opens the seven seals and, in so doing, introduces the Yom Yahweh in the sixth seal and the Son of Man Davidic Messiah in the seventh.

Rev   6   :12     I watched as he opened the sixth seal ...earthquake ...signs in the heavens.

:16     ...Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne

and from the wrath of the Lamb.

:17     For the Great Day of their wrath has come.

11 :15     The seventh angel sounded his shofar, and there were loud voices in

heaven, which said;  The kingdom of the world have become the

kingdom of Yahweh and of His Messiah, and He will reign for ever

and ever. (This is the seventh shofar of the seventh seal.)

The Lamb, who opens the seals, clearly comes before “the Great Day of their wrath” and the “Messiah”, thereafter.  This is how the prophets understood it.

  And also:

Rev.  12 :10     “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our

God, and the authority of His Messiah..

:11     They have overcome him (the accuser) by the blood of the Lamb…

This “Messiah” and this “Lamb” speak of two different persons.  They  are separated by a mountain - the Yom Yahweh.  2 Jesus cannot be both the “Lamb” and the “Lion of Judah, the Root of David” (Rev 5:5,6).  The Lamb is Messiah Ben Yosef  (Son of Joseph) - before “the Day...”.  The Lion of Judah is Messiah Ben Dawid (Son of David), after “the Day…”,  The occasional indiscriminate use of “Son of Man” for 2 Jesus is not correct.  The Son of Man then has to be 3 Jesus.

Therefore, the Lamb introduces the Messiah in exactly the same way as 2 Jesus introduces 3 Jesus in the Prophetic Sermon - the Son Of Man, who is to appear beyond the signs.
